A plate by Spode commissioned by The Duke Of Wellington's Regiment. You can't miss 'Hindoostan', 'Mysore', 'Seringapatam', 'Delhi' and 'Leswaree'.

Wellington learned to lead an army and fight as a general in India, against some of the wiliest and bravest enemies, on terrain that would test anyone. India was his crucible. Wellington said he learned as much as he ever did about war in India. Napoleon, who hadn't fought in India, underestimated him, calling him 'the sepoy general.' Then came Waterloo.
