The emblem of the Indian Army's oldest rifle regiment, cast in brass and mounted on teak, post 1947.

The Rajputana Rifles' emblem bears the Sanskrit motto 'VEER BHOGYA VASUNDHARA', the brave shall inherit the Earth. They've earned it since 1775, fighting from France to Palestine, from Afghanistan to China, from Burma to the Congo, and from Tunisia to South Sudan. Their exploits are fit to fill a museum. Well, not surprisingly, that's exactly what they have: One of the Indian Army's best museums in Delhi Cantonment; 250 years of courage told in 7000 square feet of space where you brush shoulders with a legend that marches on.
